Kenna woke up with a fever of 102 this morning and throwing up. So... sad. I feel like a crappy mom because she's obviously seen me puke enough this pregnancy to know that she needs to do it in the toilet. :) She woke up coughing and gagging and I asked her if she needed to throw up. She said yes so we headed to the bathroom. I sat on the floor with her thinking I'd end up holding her over the toilet but she just laid her head on my leg. Poor little thing.

Her fever has been off and on all day long, so we decided to spend Thanksgiving here at home, just the 3 of us. We didn't want to get anyone else sick, especially sweet little babies. :) All in all, it has been a nice quiet day with lots of love from Kenna.

Here's my top few things I'm thankful for this year.

1. My wonderful, amazing, supportive husband. Without all of his love and support, I definitely wouldn't be getting through school and applying to pharmacy school. Chris is so wonderful to put up with my mood swings with being pregnant, going though school, and raising a drama queen 2 year old. Without his hard work for our family, we wouldn't have this beautiful new house or be living comfortably during this hard economy. I am so thankful for all he does for me, Kenna and our baby. Yesterday he spent the entire day cleaning house with me and organizing things so we no longer have any boxes left in the house. I'm so lucky to have such a perfect man for me to spend the rest of my life with.

2. My sweet adorable little girl! I love her so much and am so thankful to have her around. Even when life is crazy and school is stressful, she brightens my day.

3. This future little baby girl of mine. It's crazy to think she'll be here in less than 33 days... Everyone keeps telling me this pregnancy has gone by fast, then they seem to feel bad because they think it has been a lot longer for me, but actually I have been very blessed to have a better pregnancy this time around. I very thankful that I've been able to continue doing well during this busy semester.

4. I'm thankful for my education and the ability that I have to continue in school. And all the support my family gives me to complete this education.

5. I'm thankful for Chris' job. It's nice not to have to worry about job security during these hard economic times. If the worst thing we have to deal with during these hardships is having to pay a premium for our insurance, I won't complain. I'm so thankful that he enjoys what he does and is so willing to work hard to support his family.

6. I'm thankful for NickJr... formally Noggin. Without all these wonderful preschool shows... I wouldn't be able to do well in school.

7. I'm thankful for my job. I absolutely love the company I work for and the people I work with. They are so... willing to work with my crazy school schedule. I am blessed to work for such wonderful people and have them support me in my desire to finish school also!

8. I'm thankful for the Gospel and the wonderful ward that Chris and I moved into.

9. I'm thankful for my neighborhood and the new friends I have made recently.

10. I'm thankful for all of my wonderful family members, extended and in-laws included. It's wonderful to have so much family around and they continue to help us during this busy period in our lives. Part of the reason we want to stay in Utah for Pharmacy school is, we can't imagine not having their help and support in our lives daily.

There are many more things I'm thankful for but to keep this from being a really long post. I'll stop here.
Here's a picture for those of you who don't like posts without them. :) and proof that Kenna does have a bath occasionally... This one we were fortunate enough to get through without screaming and crying thanks to Gramma Kim!

Great WEEK!

So my week continues to get even better! :) My OChem professor returned to class today! yay!!! :) I decided to make a stop over at the Holy Cow Boutique in Pleasant Grove, and I've been really wanting to get a picture of the Manti Temple for my formal living room. You know those $400 ones at Deseret Book. Well, I found this beautiful one at the boutique, it's a little bit smaller than the ones I'd been looking at... but... you couldn't beat the price! $59.95!! Wonderful!! Then I came home this evening to check my e-mail and.... that application that I sent out on Monday was received today and I've been invited to interview for the USN Pharm.D. Program in January!! I'm ecstatic!! I think Kenna thought I was crazy! I was jumping up and down so.... stinking excited!!! :)
Here's my beautiful picture:

Great Monday!!

I started off this morning not feeling so great, :( When I finally made it to school, I was all the more disappointed that my OChem professor was STILL sick. We've had a sub for almost 3+ weeks now. Its not such a good thing when... the sub continually says, "oh, I told you this wrong" or "Um... I need to fix this that I told you". It's definitely not been fun.

On to the better part of the day. Since my OChem professor was gone again, I decided to skip class and headed up to the computer lab to finish up my essay's for my applications to pharmacy school. I really wanted to get one in the mail today. So I checked my e-mail really quick and had this e-mail from our mortgage company about a possibility of winning tickets to see New Moon, at an advance showing Thursday night at 9:05 before it was even released to the public. :) Me, thinking... well I'll just take the quiz and see what I know. Since I didn't get 100% (I missed 2 of the 20 questions) I figured oh well, a waste of 5 min. No biggie. Well, my mortgage agent called me up about 30 min later and told me I won 2 tickets! Sweet! I'm way excited because I really didn't want to wait in line for tickets, let alone buy them.
Here's my proof:

Even better, when Chris went to pick up the tickets for me, he got to talking with our mortgage agent. When we locked in our rate, she told us that if it dropped anymore in the first year they would refinance our mortgage for free. Sweet! So... it's dropped about 0.375% from what we locked in at, so she's drawing up the papers for us! We'll be saving $50 a month! :) Wonderful... and since we'll sign new papers... we won't have a mortgage payment for Jan... which means we can pay off this baby right away and our Credit Card too!
With all of this happening today, I mailed off my 1st application to Pharmacy School to the University of Southern Nevada. I'm hoping today is a good karma day and it'll lead to good things for me! I'd love to go to this school for many reasons! 1st: it has a campus in South Jordan... no moving... 2nd: it's a 3 year program instead of 4 and... 3rd: I have a good friend I've taken a lot of classes with who just got accepted and I would LOVE to have a study partner!... I could probably name a few more... but I'll keep it to those for now. So, keep your fingers crossed for me!
For those of you who've asked to see a belly pic... I'll try and take one soon. I'm not to keen on taking pictures of myself seeing as how I already weigh more than I did the day Kenna was born.
Also, I have officially schedule my induction for Dec 29th. With our insurance changing a few things come Jan 1st and the fact that I've already paid my deductible for this year... I really wanted to have this little girl before then. Since I had a c-section with Kenna... as long as I'm dialated on the 29th, they'll break my water and see if I can go into labor on my own. If not... I'll end up having a c-section. I'm okay with whatever happens. :) So... we'll see!

Kenna

Gramma Kim came to our house this past Sunday and snapped this adorable picture of sweet Kenna (cell phone picture, so its not the greatest quality). She's lucky she got it because Kenna never sits still or smiles for pictures lately. Enjoy!!

Halloween ... and a little of this...

Sorry I haven't posted much lately... Life's been crazy busy...

Quick note... pregnancy is going good onlny 7 1/2 weeks left. For those of you who don't know, I plan on being scheduled for a c-section on Dec 29th, if this little baby hasn't shown up before then. :)

For Halloween, we went to the trunk or treat at my dad's house since... Kenna's only two and doesn't care much about going with friends. So, it was perfect for me, since I'm not up for walking all over a neighborhood to get candy for a 2 year-old.

We decided on Kenna's costume Thursday night before Halloween... She was a princess butterfly according to her.

Here's the best picture we got all night:

Family Night

Last Friday night Chris and I went Mini-golfing with Kenna and his parents! :) It was tons of fun and Kenna love to hit the ball in the hole, and playing on all the hills. Here are a few pictures that Chris's dad took. Thankfully, he had his iphone, since I convienently forgot my camera... whats new?!
